Cell On Wheels for indoor BTS applications including a trailer typically equipped with a shelter, self-supporting telescoping tower, maintenance platform, AC utility connection, transfer switch, AC load center, and a diesel generator for backup power.
Our shelters are typically equipped with a single, steel door (on rear), insulation, vinyl interior walls, AC load center, air conditioners (e/w heaters), fluorescent lighting, electrical outlets, internal master ground bar, thermal alarms, door alarm, waveguide cable entry ports and RF ground bar.
Aegis Building Technolgies can custom design and build these COW in any size requirements for any application. In addition, we can integrate the customer owned equipment into this product, creating a turnkey solution.
Cell Site
Telescoping Tower
The mobile telescopic tower is a 30 M mast, which can be erected and lowered electromechanically. The tower is heavy structure mounted on a standard truck chassis. The erection and lowering of the tower is a special operation, which requires trained and skilled personnel to perform.

Engine: Four stroke, direct injection, compression ignition, Water-cooled (2185GM/3255GM/3305GM/4375GM) industrial diesel engine complete with cooling fan drive, lubricating oil filters, air cleaners, starter motor, battery charging alternator, fuel injection pump.
Cooling System: All engines mentioned above are water-cooled & complete with water pump, tropical capacity radiator for cooling the machine in tropical ambient temperatures with engine driven blower type heavy duty cooling fan. Radiator core and fin design will take into account compensation for possible ingress of dirt which would normally clog the fins.
Fuel System: The engine is fitted with Fuel Filters with replaceable elements, Fuel Injection Pump & Fuel Lines.
Lubricating Oil System: The Lubricating oil system is complete with oil pump, oil filter with replaceable elements.
Starting System: DG set will be provided with Starting keys & Battery of 120AH for 10/15/20/25 KVA DG sets.
Safety System: All Mahindra Engines are provided with HWT, LLOP & Water Level Safety systems for Water-cooled engines. The controls for these safeties shall be provided through PIU/AMF unit. All safeties to be terminated on a strip/block
Air Inlet System: Air Intake system will be complete with Air cleaner with replaceable elements.
Exhaust Silencer System: The engine will be complete with residential capacity exhaust silencer(s) of the reactive type to meet an overall noise level of 75 dBA at 1 mtr (As specified by Central Pollution Control Board).
Alternator: The alternator will be as manufactured by Stamford/Crompton Greaves. The alternator will be of brush less, self-exciting, self-regulating design. The alternator will be tropically insulated and windings will be impregnated with thermosetting insulated varnish for use in tropical climates.
Control Panel: The control panel with the following indicators: Pressure gauge, Temperature gauge, Hour meter, Ammeter, Battery Charging indicators starting keys will be provided.
Mounting Arrangement: The engine and alternator will be mounted as a whole on a heavy duty fabricated steel baseframe constructed from folded channel sections. Crane lifting arrangement is included.
Anti-vibration Mounting Pads: The above mentioned baseframe will be complete with anti-vibration mounting pads, affixed between the engine/alternator feet and the baseframe itself thus ensuring complete vibration isolation of the rotating assemblies and enabling the machine to be placed on an uneven surface without any detrimental effects.
