Aegis Modular Shelter Design
Aegis modular shelters are designed to provide the best possible protection from environmental elements, flexibility and value. Units may be electrically preinstalled or flat packed for shipping. Aegis prefabricated shelters are pre-designed with customer requirements in mind.
Aegis’ shelters are available with a choice of panel skin materials and colours, including aluminum, stainless steel or pre-painted galvanized steel. Additionally, Aegis provides options for customers requiring greater insulation properties. Each prefabricated shelter has sufficient space to accommodate MW Racks, BTS equipment, Power Interface Units, Batteries and SMPS Battery Chargers.
The systems are efficiently designed to withstand heat generated from both the environmental temperature and heat generated from the equipment itself. Aegis can provide complete design and implementation of passive cooling technology in its shelters by using a wide range of available Phase Change Material (PCM).
Each shelter is modular in design and as such can be built to any size. Reinforced flooring enables customers to confidently install equipment and battery racks. Aegis shelters are suitable for both Greenfield and rooftop installations with minimal civil work.
